Andrea Treviño appointed CCFC Marketing & Business Development Manager
Corpus Christi FC has announced the appointment of Ms. Andrea Treviño as its Marketing and Business Development Manager, she will work with the Clubs Director of Business Development to oversee the organizations sales, marketing, and corporate partnerships on both a local and national level.
The Sharks are the newest sports addition in Corpus Christi, competing in the United Soccer League Two, North America’s premier professional soccer league. The organization this year launched the Corpus Christi FC Academy in partnership with German soccer giant FC Bayern Munich for athletics 4 to 18 years. Andrea will be working with Corpus Christi FC as part of its Sports Management Internship Program.
Andrea was born and raised in Mercedes, Texas where she graduated from Mercedes High School in 2016. She is currently a senior at Texas A&M University where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business. She is set to graduate in May after she has completed her internship with Corpus Christi FC.
The announcement made by Corpus Christi FC (CCFC) President Dr. Kingsley Okonkwo exemplifies the goal of CCFC to both develop quality athletes in addition to providing a platform for students within our community to gain experience in sports management.
Corpus Christi FC seeks to create and implement unique programs and partnerships with companies both local and national, delivering unprecedented levels of engagement, first-class hospitality experiences, and brand promotion.
CCFC has had 2 successful seasons, they were ranked second in the Mid-South Division and where the second highest scoring team in the nation in 2019. The Sharks captured the attention of soccer fans across the Coastal Bend in 2019. An even greater season with an expanded audience and promotional reach is expected for 2020.
