Corpus Christi FC (The Sharks) is delighted to announce the appointment of Adriano Versari as CCFC Head Coach.
The Sharks compete in the United Soccer League Two (USL2), North America’s premier pre-professional soccer league.
He played top level football as well as futsal in his native Italy and has been a soccer coach for almost 20 years. Adriano is known for his attention to detail, leadership, and motivational skills at the highest level on and off the field, he also has extensive experience developing both senior and youth talent. He holds both a USSF-A license and a UEFA-B License

CCFC has had two impressive seasons, the team was the second highest scoring team in the nation in 2019 and continues to garner attention on the national stage. The Sharks captured the attention of soccer fans across the Coastal Bend. The Sharks sat out the 2020 season due to the COVID 19 pandemic and plans to play in the 2021 USL2 season
In preparation for its upcoming 2021 season, The Sharks have announced its open tryout date for December 12th, 2020 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at John Paul High School Field.

USL League Two is the top pre-professional soccer league in North America, offering a summer platform for aspiring professionals across the United States and Canada. More than 70 percent of all MLS SuperDraft selections since 2010 have League Two experience, including 66 alumni chosen in 2018 and 61 in 2019. Werder Bremen’s Josh Sargent, Newcastle United’s DeAndre Yedlin, and Atlanta United’s Brad Guzan are among the many U.S. National Team players to have competed in USL League Two.
